Boscato - „Tradition Meets Innovation“
Tradition and innovation are combined in the wines of Boscato. Implemented by Clovis and Valmor Boscato, descendants of immigrant wine growers to the south of Brazil a century ago, the winery Boscato only started 25 years ago with quality wines.
In 1972 Clovis has Boscato formed as a winemaker in Bento Goncalvez. 10 years later, the brothers decided to make Boscato their own business and Boscato Winery was born.
Boscato is one of the most famous and best wineries of Brazil.
In the south of Rio Grande do Sul, 132 miles from Bento Goncalvez and 32 miles from Caxias do Sul are the vineyards and the winery, in the preferred region of Rio das Antas Boscato. The vineyards are located in a very fertile region, which is perfectly suited to produce high quality wines. The vineyards are located 710 to 816 meters above sea level.

To access the latest technological progress in Boscato 2006 installed drip irrigation in the vineyards. In 2007, followed the meteorological system, which constantly monitored the soil, climate and the quality of the vine. The knowledge of these three evaluations allowed Boscato know the approximate course of how to develop the vineyards. The meteorological data like temperature, humidity, solar radiation, wind and soil moisture are directed to the computer at Boscato for evaluation and storage. This use of the device helps reduce diseases before they occur and helps determine which grape variety is best developed in a particular soil.
